Good brokers are first and foremost advocates for their clients. As part of this advocacy, good brokers also listen to their insurance carrier partners to better understand their view of the world, including their current appetite for risk.
We are in conversation with insurance carriers every day. For this section of Looking Ahead, we surveyed insurance carriers with whom we place both primary and excess GPL coverage. We asked questions about pricing expectations, retention structures, renewal strategies, and claim trends for both venture capital and private equity.
